Art of Solar array reinstalled on a tile roof in South Florida

Solar re-rack, repair & service · Orlando to Miami

Solar panel removal, reinstall & repair. Any roof. No excuses.

Solar re-rack, detach and reset

Solar panel removal and reinstallation for a new roof, done by a licensed solar crew.

Re-rack, detach and reset, D&R, solar removal and reinstall: four names for the same job. The array comes off before tear-off, the roofer gets a clean deck, and the system goes back on new flashed mounts after the roof passes final inspection. In Florida, moving an array is solar contracting and reconnecting it is electrical work, so a roofing licence does not cover it and a warranty claim will find that out.

We do solar panel removal for re-roofing, orphaned system repair when the original installer went out of business, roof leak repair at the mounts, panel relocation and layout redesign, storm and hurricane damage repair, inspections and production checks. Homeowners, roofing contractors and insurance jobs, Orlando to Miami.

Typical Florida detach and reset pricing runs per panel, quoted in writing before anyone touches the roof, with the solar permit pulled by us and the inspection met by us. No mystery line items, no subbing your array out to a handyman.

FAQ

Common questions

What area do you cover?

Florida from Orlando down to Miami: Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Brevard, Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Tampa, Lakeland, Sebring, Fort Myers and Naples by arrangement. Outside that, ask and we will tell you honestly.

Do you only work on systems you installed?

No. Almost everything we do is on systems other companies installed, including companies that have gone out of business. Any brand, any installer, no judgment.

Do you work with my roofer?

Yes, any licensed roofer. We take the panels down before tear-off, they replace the roof, and we put the array back on new attachments after their final inspection. Roofing companies keep our number for exactly this.

Do you also do new installs?

Yes. New projects, system design, site surveys, city inspections and inverter repair have always been part of the business, along with solar pool heating and solar hot water. Roofing and windows too, so a re-roof with solar can be one call.

How do I get a price?

Send the address, a rough panel count and a photo or two through the quote form, or message the Facebook page. You get a written quote before anyone touches a panel.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. All work is done by licensed and insured crews, permitted where the county requires it, and inspected.

The more you send, the faster the quote. A photo of the array from the street and a photo of the inverter is usually enough to start.
